The Video Editor will be responsible for creating engaging and informative videos to support our educational content. They will work closely with our content creators, marketing team, and educators to produce high-quality video content for our online learning platform. The ideal candidate should be highly creative, have strong technical skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce engaging video content for our online learning platform.
Work with the content creators to develop and execute video concepts that meet the needs of our audience.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
Use various software programs and editing techniques to create visually appealing and informative videos.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional videos for our products and services.
Ensure that all video content is optimized for online delivery and meets our technical requirements.
Maintain an organized archive of all video content.
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in video editing, preferably in an educational or digital media environment.
Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Knowledge of video production techniques, including lighting, sound recording, and post-production editing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
